The ASF is proud to partner with Gorsky Community and Young Gorsky Professionals for an intimate, private evening exploring the rich history of Mountain/Gorsky/Kavkazi Jews. Over a traditional dinner, ASF’s National Director of Education, Ruben Shimonov, will illuminate the history and vibrant culture of an ancient, Judeo-Persian speaking community with deep roots in the Caucasus—an ethnically, linguistically and religiously diverse region at the crossroads of Asia and Europe.
