DESCRIPTION:In the old quarter of Larache\, in northern Morocco\, Shlomo dies\, leaving behind troubling signs that shake the certainty surrounding his religious identity. His family and friends are quickly faced with an almost Kafkaesque dilemma: should he be buried in the Jewish cemetery or the Muslim cemetery? Returning from Canada amidst the turmoil\, his son David has only one thought in mind: to give his father a proper burial\, whatever the cost. Imad\, his childhood friend\, carries an invisible burden: through his negligence\, he believes himself responsible for Shlomo’s death.
